This is a sketch for the first chapter of my book. Three chapters have been written so far but I am stuck on this chapter because I want to write it right. It's going to be about my life in fantasy form. It's gonna be about the daughter of a witch, who lost her Mom at a young age and spends her childhood moving from one crazy adventure to the next. She will travel the world, encounter many different worldviews, and slowly come into herself. J.K. Rowling and Neil Gaiman will be my inspirations. I am worried that writing about myself is a little egotistical but it has been done many times before. I think it will be a story that many young women in our era can relate to. I've just got to actually do it! Wish me luck! . . . . . . . . . .

Thank God It‘s Friday🎉 Und so schnell ist schon wieder eine Woche rum. Für mich steht heute mal gar nichts an, einfach ein bisschen im Bett liegen, ausruhen und sich mal so richtig entspannen. Was steht bei euch heute so an? 💓 _______________________________________

I am self aware of my feelings, but they are Not my TRUTH.⁣ ⁣ We all carry different traumas and have created habitual responses to those WOUNDS. Most of it happens in our subconscious. Until we consciously identify our triggers and what BEHAVIOR or pattern we want to change we will always be stuck. We have to literally RESTRUCTURE proteins in our brain to create a new permanent healthy response at the sub conscious level. This can only be done with REPETITION of the new thought or habit.⁣ ⁣ So, this month I am doing some self work... I call it SELF AWAKENING. For 30 days I am focusing on one behavior I am not proud of personally. Daily writing what I want to change, diving into why I behave this way, and PRACTICING ways I can break the pattern. Affirming who I want to become. AFFIRMING my Truths; not just relying on feelings which are fleeting. Repetition is key to real change. So, DAILY for 30 days I will face the ugly to break the pattern and create a beautiful new part of me.⁣ ⁣

White Chicken Chili Makes 4 servings Per Serving 1 leaner protein, 3 condiments, 2 1/4 vegetables, 1 healthy fat Ingredients: 2 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into bite size pieces 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 cup green spring onion, diced 1 cup bell pepper, any color, seeded and chopped 1/2 cup jalapeños, seeded and diced 3 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 tsp ground cumin 1 teaspoon coriander 3 cups chicken broth 1 cup water 2 - 7 ounce cans green chiles 3 tablespoons thick canned coconut milk (unsweetened) Chopped green onions and cilantro for garnish Directions: Chop the chicken and veggies. Then place a large pot over medium-high heat. Add the oil, onions, peppers, jalapeño, and garlic. Saute for 5 minutes, then add the chicken, salt and spices. Saute another 5-8 minutes, until the chicken is nearly cooked through. Add the broth, green chiles, and coconut milk. Whisk in the arrowroot powder and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Then take a potato masher (or ladle) and smash the chicken pieces to shreds. Serve topped with green onions and cilantro. . .

WTHeck? I overcrushed my goal of 10K (6.2M) by the end of August by 8 days. And I’ve kickstarted my next goal of running 10 miles through, which I hope to achieve within September.💥 I’m not concerned about my time here (although it’s well in the average range for my category) because it includes my warmup and cooldown walks. 🏃🏻‍♀️ I began running with a lot of self-consciousness due to an illness that creates muscle pain and inflammation, as well as a lack of energy (ME/CFS) and often wondered when I could legitimately call myself a runner. I think I can do that now. 🙂 For ME/CFS inspired - I began walking just a block and slowly worked my way up to long walks and run-walks. Then short runs to now longer runs. Never overdo it or push yourself, and have fun! In fact, the fun and inner joy should be the focus and then the sustained physical achievements will naturally follow. ☀️❤️

¿Sabéis qué pasa cuando quieres algo y trabajas para conseguirlo? Que a veces, alguien, se da cuenta de que existes, de que vales, de que puedes ayudar, puedes aportar. Y te llama. La semana pasada estuve en Madrid por una buena causa. No digo por una empresa, no digo por una cifra, digo por una causa. Una causa por la que llevo apostando muchos años, y es la de darle una oportunidad a las personas. Me llamaron hace algo más de un mes porque pensaban que yo podía ayudarles. Y esa sensación, os lo digo ya, es maravillosa. También da mucho vértigo, sí. Mi trabajo no es fácil, y no me refiero al Marketing. Me refiero a hacer que la gente vuelva a creer en sí misma. Que vea el sol al final de la tormenta. Y es difícil porque es muy fácil caer en el rollo vendehumos de "persigue tus sueños". La vida no es eso, la vida es aprender a ser resilente, y eso es lo que yo hago. Enseño a cambiar de estrategia, a cambiar de plan, a maniobrar para seguir adelante. Es un trabajo muy difícil de tasar. Podemos ponerle precio a una campaña de marketing, a una estrategia en redes sociales, a un plan de acción, o a un juego nuevo. Pero es muy difícil valorar el esfuerzo de alguien que lo que busca es que sigas adelante. Gracias BadLand Publishing.
